—— but she is part of her love and light;  a warrior of a faith so far from all she has ever known.  perhaps with kindness she will soften. ( in return for her loyalty to those she deems her harbor she will receive a universe filled with light. )  an abrasion is revealed and imsine’s mien softens at the realization whilst she adheres to curing her friend.  warriors accept what others do not understand.   … how came you by this unfortunate predicament?  i take it you have scarred the other profusely and without mercy.

Gold is a hearty temptation for a thief of any calibre, and a Warrior whose living was forged on the blade, and travelled where battle hearkened ( and payment therewith ) — gold chinked as it patted against an armour flank. Ambushes were not rare by any stretch of the imagination, and well-prepared is the quondam Servant, a blade tucked neatly into her belt where none could see; unfortunately, though armour protects it also hinders the speed of her movement, and Kālǐnn hadn’t the time to deter a sylphine hand from grabbing hold of the blade and plunging it through a joint betwixt plate and chain-mail — though she had time enough to plunge her curved sword straight through their chest.

One injury was enough for the both of them, and she daren’t waste time and energy beating them back. Death was a swift deterrent for other brigands who ventured the notion of attacking her.

Silvern gaze alights upon the Mage, abashed that she’d forced upon her the task of healing her flesh ( the wicked flesh it is, the flesh of a breaker-of-oaths, the flesh of a martyr for a Lost Cause ). Words have long since dried their well in her throat, and she cannot form an answer —— of this Imsine must be already well-aware —— and the wayfarer simply extends a bloodied dagger, not yet cleaned of her attacker’s gore, droping it from the hold of a cloth clutched in her hands; such was reply enough, they are dead. Fingers grasp lightly at the Arch-Mage’s shoulder, teeth grasping the curl of a bottom lip, her utter shame pervading her body language as her friend worked at the dirtied wound. ( A kindness she does not deserve. )
